In 1972, after moving to the United States from Romania, Haig Tacorian started working in the jewelry business.

For three years, he worked as a salesman for a jewelry manufacturing company. In 1975, Haig and his wife Gilda started their own jewelry company, B&T Jewelers. For twelve years, they designed and manufactured jewelry. Then in 1990, the company's name was changed to Tacori. The company now designs and manufactures vintage and engraved rings and fashion accessories; bracelets, earrings, pendants. Tacori was one of the first to start the vintage style and now is one of the best and most well known designers of vintage style jewelry. Tacori jewelry has beautiful old world style with new world taste.

Tacori is a family run operation. The Tacori company designs and manufactures all their pieces. First, each piece is made by hand in a wax. Each piece is handmade by expert jewelers to assure the finest of select quality jewelry. All Tacori jewelry is made with 950 platinum (95%). All their jewelry uses GH/VS quality diamonds. All their engraved rings are engraved by hand. Most of the beautiful filigree work is inlaid by hand.
