California native, Christie Frantz started her career in art at the age of five; winning a citywide poster contest. She began making jewelry in high school, then apprenticed with a custom jeweler while attending the University of Colorado in Boulder as an architecture major.

After college, she returned to California where she began creating her own innovative designs. Her jewelry has achieved international recognition and awards in contests which include the Spectrum and Diamonds International competitions.

Christie sees her designs as wearable sculptures. "A clean geometric angle, or soft sweep of a curve form the focus around which I design a piece. I blend uniquely cut gems and diamonds wit gold to create jewelry which looks and feels beautiful."
